CEO & Co-founder
Alexandra Assouad is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mind-Easy, a pioneering company at the forefront of the intersection between software and wellbeing, focused on the emerging field of adaptive health.
Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Alexandra relocated to Toronto at the age of 18 to pursue her studies at the University of Toronto.
During her time as a student, she demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit by conceiving, developing, and launching her first startup called Chirpi, which she successfully sold in 2019. Following this achievement, Alexandra gained invaluable experience in the venture capital industry, notably working at CIBC, Canada's largest bank, and iGan Partners, a health-tech focused fund. These experiences paved the way for her eventual launch of Mind-Easy.
In the aftermath of the devastating Beirut explosion in August 2020, Alexandra recognized the challenge of finding therapists who could truly understand and appreciate the unique cultural traits, values, and sensibilities of individuals. This realization inspired her to establish Mind-Easy, an innovative platform that combines a comprehensive understanding of human characteristics and life challenges with cutting-edge AI software. The result is a therapeutic experience that continuously adapts to provide enhanced support to users on a daily basis. With the potential to revolutionize the field of mental health, Alexandra has garnered support from esteemed experts across various disciplines.
In recognition of her exceptional entrepreneurial accomplishments and innovative contributions to the health-tech industry, Alexandra Assouad has been honored as a 30x30 Glory Entrepreneur and the youngest health tech leader of 2023. Her remarkable achievements and visionary leadership serve as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and industry professionals alike.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Alexandra is an avid chess player and trains diligently to achieve mastery in the game. She currently holds the title of candidate master, showcasing her dedication and commitment to personal growth.
